Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer - Requirements & Verification for a major rail infrastructure programme in London. The role focuses on managing project requirements and supporting Verification & Validation across the engineering lifecycle, collaborating with design, construction and technical specialists on site.

The ideal candidate has experience with Requirements Management on large projects, familiarity with IBM DOORS, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering with emphasis on requirements management and verification/validation.
• Experience using IBM DOORS on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement the project's Requirements Management Plan and processes.
• Manage project requirements through the engineering lifecycle using IBM DOORS.
• Collaborate with design, construction, subcontractors and SMEs to allocate/manage requirements.
• Produce Verification & Validation Matrices to support assurance across design, construction, testing, and handover.
• Support requirements traceability and verification/delivery of project deliverables.
• Monitor and report on Requirements Management performance.
• Support continuous improvement of Requirements Management processes.
• Build relationships across multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery.
