Job summary

Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join a well-established electronics manufacturing business in Newbridge. The role focuses on supporting manufacturing programs and NPI in a technical production setting.

Responsibilities include creating and modifying machine programs, BOM-based data handling, and contributing to continuous improvement on the shop floor. A background in electronics/PCB manufacturing is ideal.

Qualifications

Experience or knowledge of CAD/Gerber software.
Ability to read and interpret technical information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Auto Insert manufacturing.
Understanding of electronic engineering/PCB manufacturing.
Experience with engineering change processes.
Knowledge of solder-paste stencils.

Responsibilities

Support generation and amendment of manufacturing machine programs using Factory Logix.
Assist with NPI activity, engineering changes, and production documentation.
Create and amend manufacturing programs from CAD data, Gerber files and BOMs.
Generate Auto Insert and serialisation programs; create Laser, Etch, DEK, MY700 and SPI programs.
Create AOI CAD files and Axial/Radial programs; support NPI and first-off verification.
Implement and control ECNs and build deviations; investigate component data.
Produce process-flow, build and working documentation for shop-floor use.
Support production and resolve technical issues on the shop floor; assist solder-paste stencil needs.
