Travail Employment Group is seeking a Software Developer for a growing technology business near Lewes. You will own the development, maintenance and ongoing improvement of websites, CRM platforms and internal software systems within a small, collaborative team.

The role combines software development, web technologies, database work and some infrastructure responsibilities, with direct interaction with end users and stakeholders to identify requirements and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in software development.
• Experience with APIs, web apps and database-driven systems desirable.
• Exposure to IIS, Linux environments or infrastructure support advantageous.
• Strong problem solver who enjoys working with users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing multiple business websites
• Developing and enhancing internal CRM systems
• Maintaining APIs and integration points between systems
• Supporting and developing desktop applications
• Working with SQL databases and associated reporting
• Troubleshooting application and website issues
• Supporting server and service administration activities
• Working directly with end users to identify requirements and improvements
• Testing, deploying and documenting new functionality
• Contributing to future technical projects and system improvements
