Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation Mission Systems UK in Bristol is seeking a Junior Supportability Engineer to support MOD-related projects and ILS activities. You will prepare documentation, assist in bid assessments, and act as a key liaison between SNC MS UK and the MOD to ensure progress on ILS tasks.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates in an engineering-related discipline.
• Subject to UK security vetting: Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
• Eligibility for UK residency and security checks.

Responsibilities

• Providing consultation support on ILS and bid responses.
• Developing and maintaining documentation related to ILS and supportability.
• Coordinating ILS-related tasks across programs, engineering, procurement, logistics and maintenance.
• Providing logistical technical support to customers and field teams.

As aJunior SupportabilityEngineer, you will play a key role insupporting MOD-relatedprojectsproviding advice and guidance on Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) activities thatare happeningwithinUK MODprogrammes. No two days will be the same as you willsupport inBID ratings related to ILS one day, influence and inform decision as key link between SNC MS UK and the MODthe next. You will writeup relevant documents as well as keeping spreadsheets updatedas part of your day-to-day.

Some of your responsibilities will include...

• Providingconsultation support to bids by assessing requirements and responding to statements of work
• Developingandmaintainingdocumentation such as plans, Reports, Analysis and Repositories related to ILS and Supportability.
• Supportingproject coordination for ILS related tasks and activities across departments such as Programs, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics and Maintenance teams.
• Providinglogistical technical support to customers, end-users, and field service teams.
