Artemis is expanding its estate of luxury wedding venues and seeks a Junior Sous Chef for Mythe Barn in Warwickshire. You will join a structured kitchen, delivering modern British menus for high-end weddings and events with 100+ covers.

The role offers 45 hours per week, a £30,000 salary, full-time permanent status, and clear progression to Sous & Head Chef roles within a modern, fully equipped kitchen with fresh seasonal produce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in quality food-led kitchens.
• Experience with 100+ cover service.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and modern British cuisine.
• Calm, organised and professional under pressure.
• Team-focused with strong communication skills.
• Own transport to venue location.
• Right to work full-time in the UK.
• Wedding or event catering experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day kitchen management.
• Maintaining high food and hygiene standards (HACCP compliant).
• Assisting with ordering, stock control and rota planning.
• Ensuring allergen compliance.
• Delivering beautifully presented dishes under pressure.
• Helping develop and test new menu ideas.
