Carden Park Hotel is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join the luxury kitchen brigade. You will work with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences in the award-winning Vines Restaurant.

The role suits an ambitious chef ready to develop leadership skills within a busy, high-volume hotel environment. As a full-time Junior Sous Chef (40 hours/week), you will contribute to quality, consistency and cost control while mentoring junior team members and maintaining

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality hotels, restaurants or high-volume kitchens is essential.
• Proven ability to prepare and present high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the highest standards.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with menu development and contribute ideas for seasonal ingredients.
• Maintain food hygiene and health/safety standards.
• Support stock control and minimise waste through proper rotation.
• Supervise and develop junior kitchen staff and foster teamwork.
