Job summary

Cosy Club Plymouth is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join a lively hospitality team, cooking from fresh for high-volume service and leading the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

You will be organised, motivated and able to work across branded and independent concepts. In return, you’ll enjoy an hourly rate with tips, meals on shift, paid breaks, Wagestream access, and great staff incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes.
• Be very organised and capable of motivating and leading a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Mixed branded and independent background is ideal.
• Able to communicate with all team members up and down the ladder and foster strong FOH & BOH relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh dishes for high-volume service.
• Lead kitchen during Head Chef's absence and supervise the brigade.
• Coordinate with FOH and BOH to ensure smooth service.
