Job summary

Company of Cooks in London is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our team, delivering high-quality contract catering across cultural venues. You will help create menus, oversee timely production, and maintain service standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7am–3:30pm, with occasional weekend and evening shifts for events. Experience in contract catering is essential, and you’ll work with a supportive team at NW1 4LE.

Responsibilities

• To invent and create menus in line with client and customer needs
• To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
• To enjoy the food you produce and ensure they are ‘picture perfect’ every time
• To assist in developing and producing new service styles and food concepts
• To communicate with the relevant parties requirements for planned menus and order necessary ingredients
• Working in a team of 6, 1 HC, 1 Sous Chef, 1 Junior Sous, 2 CDP and 1 Breakfast Chef
