Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC – Devon Doorway in Heswall – is seeking a Junior Sous Chef who loves great food, developing people and making guests smile. You’ll run a section and lead your kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Brand standards championed in daily kitchen tasks.
• Lead and train kitchen team to deliver consistent quality.
• Monitor stock levels, orders and portion control.
• Develop team through coaching and feedback.
• Ensure recipes are followed and dishes are executed to spec.

Responsibilities

• Cook to spec and work within brand targets.
• Support the chefs in your team to deliver top quality standards on every shift.
• Run your own section as a kitchen team leader and develop management and leadership skills.
• Support with stock control and ordering so you’re set up for success.
