Job summary

Sodexo Live! is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Constance at Fulham Pier in London. This role sits in a Michelin Guide-recognised restaurant, working under leadership to maintain high standards and develop your culinary skills. Shifts run 9am-11pm, including weekends and matchdays.

You will support the Head Chef, lead sections, help with menu development and cost controls while enjoying a competitive salary plus Tronc and extensive training and benefits within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef.
• Experience in a high-volume professional kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the daily running of kitchen operations.
• Leading designated kitchen sections and assisting with supervision of the wider brigade.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to exceptional standards.
• Monitoring food quality, consistency and presentation throughout service.
• Supporting menu development and the introduction of new dishes.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and inventory management.
• Ensuring food safety, HACCP standards are maintained at all times.
• Coaching, mentoring and supporting junior team members.
• Driving waste reduction and supporting food cost controls.

We're looking for a talented and driven

Junior Sous Chef to join our growing brigade. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie, Senior Chef de Partie or existing Junior Sous Chef who is passionate about quality ingredients, refined cooking and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Do:

What You Bring:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
• Experience working within a high-volume professional kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation standards
• Good understanding of HACCP, food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of stock control, food costing and waste management principles
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach
