Job summary

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our luxury care home kitchen. You will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and help deliver fresh, nutritious meals to our residents, while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial kitchen experience, a passion for high-quality food, and excellent organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment.
• A passion for fresh ingredients and high-quality food.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Positive, team-focused approach to enhance residents' dining experiences.
• City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery, or equivalent qualification (desirable)
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP procedures

• Help preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals to a consistently high standard.
