Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a technically oriented professional to support mid- to large-enterprise customers, gathering requirements and translating them into SQL-driven solutions using mpro5.

You will configure business logic, write stored procedures, learn the mpro5 platform, and advise customers on achieving their goals while collaborating with the Customer Excellence team to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science or a related subject, or 1–2 years' experience in a technical role such as software development, implementation, or technical support.
• Solid SQL fundamentals; ability to write queries confidently and willingness to develop stored procedures.
• Practical SQL experience is a plus; strong academic or project work counts.
• Genuine interest in working directly with customers.
• Ability to explain technical ideas in plain language and listen well.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Some familiarity with the software development life cycle and Agile ways of working.
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, or Zendesk is a plus, not a requirement.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements-gathering sessions with mid- to large-enterprise customers and eventually lead these conversations.
• Configure and implement business logic in mpro5 using SQL, including writing stored procedures.
• Learn the mpro5 platform and advise customers on how to achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with the Customer Excellence team to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Work with Customer Excellence Managers to deliver work accurately and on time.
• Follow QA processes and fully test work before customer release.
