Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior / Trainee Engineer in Belfast to join a renewables-focused team. You will cost and price Solar PV projects for residential and commercial clients, tendering from customers and coordinating with design and installation teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

In-house training and progression opportunities are offered as you develop into a fully-fledged engineer and estimator within a growing renewables company serving the UK market.

Qualifications

• Must be a junior/trainee engineer seeking a renewables/electrical background
• Willingness to develop into an estimator or engineer
• Desire to grow with in-house training and progression

Responsibilities

• Estimating the price of Solar PV projects for commercial and residential projects
• Take tenders and enquiries from customers and produce costing reports
• Liaise with design, installation and maintenance teams to ensure projects meet time and budget
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with flexible start/finish times
