Job Description:

Description

Are you passionate about Agile practices and eager to build your career in software delivery and programme coordination? We're looking for a Junior Software Release Coordinator, internally known as Associate Release Train Engineer (RTE), to join our dynamic delivery team, supporting the smooth operation of our Agile Release Train (ART). This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering impactful healthcare software that supports real change in people's lives.

As an Associate RTE at System C, you'll begin your journey by learning from experienced professionals and gradually take ownership of key ART ceremonies and release management activities. You'll help facilitate programme-level planning (Program Increment or PI Planning), support teams to stay aligned with goals, and track progress using tools like Jira and Confluence. Over time, you'll build confidence and competence to independently lead ART-wide events and manage cross-team coordination.

You'll work closely with senior RTEs, development and product teams, testers, and business stakeholders. From managing dependencies and mitigating risks, to maintaining clear release documentation and championing Agile practices, your role will be central to ensuring smooth and timely delivery.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enthusiastic about continuous improvement, and ready to dive into Agile methodologies. If you're someone who enjoys connecting teams, promoting transparency, and thrives in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the organisation and facilitation of PI Planning and ART ceremonies.
  • Monitor team progress and manage dependencies using Jira and Confluence.
  • Track risks and support issue resolution throughout the Program Increment.
  • Ensure release readiness and maintain documentation in Confluence.
  • Promote Agile practices and contribute to retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • Build stakeholder communication skills by supporting engagement and progress reporting.

What You'll Need:

  • A basic understanding of Agile or SAFe principles (training provided if needed).
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • A proactive, learning-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with Jira or Confluence is a plus but not required.

This is an ideal entry-level role for someone looking to progress into Agile programme delivery. With our structured development programme, you'll grow into a confident RTE who helps shape how our products are delivered to market. Join us and help make a real difference through innovative technology in health and social care.
