Job summary

GD-MS in the UK is seeking a graduate software engineer to work on the Bowman product suite and internal R&D projects. You will participate in requirements elicitation, design, implementation, testing and delivery across prototypes to production-quality code.

Collaborate with engineers from multiple functions to maintain and evolve the currently deployed system. The role emphasizes teamwork and the ability to work without supervision for short periods.

Qualifications

• University-level qualification in Computer Science/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or IT discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team and deliver independently.
• Programming experience in C# and/or C++.
• Experience with Microsoft tools or similar.
• Familiar with DevOps concepts and source control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and peer review.
• Design reviews.
• Software design for moderate complexity components.
• Software implementation including unit and component tests.
• Analyse and debug issues in software components.
• Support System Integration and test activities.
• Demonstrations and experimentation as required.
