Job summary

Code Compass in Cambridge is seeking a Software Engineer (.NET) to join a growing engineering team on greenfield projects. Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days in the office.

You will design and develop modern applications using C# and .NET, building desktop, backend and systems-level software, and influence architectural decisions from day one.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience developing desktop and/or systems applications.
• Experience building automated integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with WPF, WinUI or other XAML-based UI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Architects, Product and QA teams.

This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team where you'll be working on greenfield projects, helping to design and build brand-new products and features from the ground up. Rather than maintaining legacy applications, you'll play a key role in shaping the architecture, technology choices and future direction of the platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop modern applications using C# and .NET
