Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems - United Kingdom is seeking a graduate software engineer to work on the Bowman product suite and internal R&D. You will elicit requirements, design, peer review, implement, test and deliver across prototypes to production-ready software.

The role involves collaborating with engineers from multiple functions, developing in C# and/or C++, using Microsoft tools, and applying DevOps and modelling standards to enable timely releases.

Qualifications

• University-level qualification in Computer Science/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or IT.
• Experience with C# and/or C++ and Microsoft tools.
• Familiar with software lifecycle processes and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and perform peer reviews.
• Design and implement software components with unit and integration tests.
• Debug and resolve defects in software and system configuration.
• Assist with system integration, demonstrations and experiments.
