Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join the inpatient SLT service. The post is fixed-term for 9 months and suitable for newly qualified or experienced Band 5 therapists.

Regular mentorship will support achieving RCSLT competencies and there is dysphagia training available. The role involves working across Monday to Friday, with potential weekend/bank holiday rosters, in collaboration with the MDT and wider SLT team to deliver

Qualifikationen

• Newly qualified Band 5 SLT or experienced Band 5 seeking opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Provide SLT service to adults with communication and swallowing disorders across Nottingham University Hospitals (Queens Medical Centre and City Hospital).
• Independently assess, formulate, implement and evaluate treatment plans.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to maximise client communication outcomes.
• Support development of assistants and contribute to training for health and education professionals.
