As a staff nurse at MFT, you’ll be expected to work within the NMC code of Professional Conduct throughout the department in Majors Assessment, Ambulatory Care, our Rapid Assessment Unit (Ambulance Triage), and RESUS, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to ensure all patients are seen efficiently and effectively, meeting their clinical needs within the 4-hour target. As a major trauma center, we work closely with North West Ambulance Service.

The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan, evaluate, and deliver all relevant aspects of care to an agreed and expected high standard. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. Participate fully in structured competency-based programmes, as required while working in all areas of the Emergency Department.
