Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse – Children to join our paediatric nursing team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury. You will care for children and young people across our wards, providing patient-centred, evidence-based care and helping to lead others within the team.

We offer bespoke induction and preceptorship, support for revalidation, and flexible working options.

Qualifications

  • Worked a variety of acute/community settings.
  • Experience in acute paediatric nursing.
  • Experience of acting as mentor – coach – preceptor
  • Experience in undertaking staff appraisal / development
  • Understanding of the Clinical Governance Process
  • Experience of teaching students, HCA’s and qualified staff
