Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Registered Nursing Associate to join the National Spinal Injuries Centre on St Andrew Ward in Aylesbury. The role offers a full-time or part-time arrangement with flexible working and a 37.5-hour week, band 4 salary scale.

You will provide compassionate, safe care, support assessment, and work within a multidisciplinary team under supervision as needed. You’ll document care, communicate clearly, and assist with discharge planning in line with

  • Understands and acts in line with the NMS professional standards for practice contained with The Code.
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in health care.
  • Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience of providing and receiving complex, sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the condition and health needs of people within their care on a continual basis in partnership with people, families and carers

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital or written information and instructions when sharing information, delegating or handing over responsibility for care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients when delivering cares, providing advice where appropriate.
  • Recognise and report any situations, behaviours or errors that could result in poor care outcomes
  • Understand, encourage and complete the necessary paperwork to enable discharge/transfers in a safe and timely manner.

The successful candidate will be part of the St Andrew ward Team, in NSIC.

Main duties of the job
