Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Junior Shift Electrical Engineer for a large static site in Edinburgh. You will perform electrical PPM tasks, reactive maintenance and support building fabric works on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern. On-call weekends required and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

The role requires City & Guilds Level 2/3, 18th Edition, and a valid UK driving license; excellent fault-finding and communication skills are essential for client-facing duties.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 18th Edition.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Experience with commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive tasks within set time frames.
• Support other building services maintenance including basic fabric and HVAC.
• Provide callout response as per rota.
• Monitor contractors and issue Permits to Work.
• Ensure tasks meet SLAs and safety standards.
• Involve in day-to-day operation of building services plant.
• Fault finding on building services equipment.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities.
