Meyer Timber in Tilbury is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join the Sales team at our Tilbury depot. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone starting a career in sales within a professional and supportive environment.

You will gain practical experience across customer engagement, sales administration and order management. As part of the Sales team you will develop knowledge across a range of commercial activities, work closely with customers, and support the order process with

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence and professionalism when communicating with customers by telephone and email.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to learn quickly and apply new information effectively.
• IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Making outbound sales calls and handling inbound customer enquiries
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers
• Supporting customers throughout the order process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently
• Responding to customer enquiries in a timely, professional manner
• Providing administrative support to the wider sales team
