Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Safety Advisor to join our team on a high-profile Data Center project in North West London. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Support the Safety Manager in ensuring all personnel comply with HSE requirements and company standards.
• Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
• Assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and accidents, and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
• Stay updated with health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the construction or data center sector.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all levels of staff and contractors.
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to safety management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
