Freshfields seeks a Junior Risk Adviser to join the Practice Protection team in the Legal Department. You will develop expertise in risk management, governance and compliance while supporting a broad range of risk activities across the firm.

You’ll work with Legal, Finance, HR and Information Security to identify, assess and manage risks, reporting to governance forums and helping to build a strong culture of risk awareness across the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk, compliance, governance, legal, audit, regulatory or other professional services environments.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work to a high standard.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and confidence building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• An interest in risk management, governance, regulation and professional ethics.

Responsabilités

• Support operation and development of the enterprise risk management framework.
• Assist with risk assessments, reviews and risk-related projects.
• Monitor risk mitigation actions and key risk indicators.
• Prepare materials for management, committees and governance forums.
• Contribute to dashboards, risk metrics and reporting tools.
• Coordinate across stakeholders and support risk initiatives.
