Job summary

International Law Firm is seeking a Conflicts Advisor within its global New Business & Enterprise Risk function. You will manage conflicts of interest, information barriers, and matter risk assessments across a global practice, collaborating with partners, lawyers, and risk teams worldwide.

The role supports onboarding of new clients and matters in line with risk framework and professional obligations, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Law degree and LPC qualification.
• Experience in conflicts, risk, compliance or new business intake within a law firm or professional services.
• Strong understanding of conflicts of interest and confidential information obligations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage conflict checks on new matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Review client and matter opportunities using internal/external research tools.
• Advise partners and lawyers on conflicts, information barriers, and risk procedures.
• Assess reputational, sanctions, financial crime, and AML risks.
