Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading heavy civils contractor near Leeds, on the Yorkshire Water framework. Salary up to £45,000 (doe) plus company car / allowance, fuel, annual leave and pension.

This permanent role offers a clear path to cradle-to-grave project responsibility within a strong commercial team. You'll work on projects such as water treatment upgrades, storm tanks, shaft sinking and pump stations, gaining NEC 3/4 contract experience and

Qualifications

• Graduate Quantity Surveyor level experience on civil engineering projects.
• Experience in heavy civils – RC structures, deep drainage, pump stations.
• Relevant degree or Civil Engineering qualification.
• Experience and understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support cradle-to-grave contract administration on projects.
• Assist with cost planning, measurement and reporting.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and suppliers as needed.
