Elvet Recruitment are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading heavy civil engineering contractor near Leeds. The role supports progression from graduate QS to cradle‑to‑grave project ownership within NEC contract frameworks across water and civils projects.

The position offers a clear path to senior responsibilities, a strong commercial team, and exposure to multi‑million pound schemes throughout the Yorkshire region.

Qualifications

• Experience at Graduate Quantity Surveyor level on Civil Engineering projects (QA).
• Experience within heavy civils: RC structures, deep drainage, pump stations etc.
• Relevant degree or Civil Engineering qualification.
• Experience and understanding working with NEC contracts.
• Experience of Microsoft Office packages.
