4Site Recruitment is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team of a prestigious main contractor specializing in luxury residential construction across prime London postcodes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their QS career, whether you have a couple of years of experience or are currently studying and seeking a contractor who will support your professional development. Based in Central London, you will work on high-spec projects, managing smaller packages while reporting to the Commercial Director.

The role is ideal for someone eager to grow within a company long-term and looking to develop a career in a supportive, close-knit team that values commitment and initiative.

The Role:

• Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Preparing tender documentation and analyzing quotations
• Supporting cost planning, valuations, and variations
• Monitoring project budgets and reporting on cost performance
• Assisting in contract administration and ensuring compliance
• Attending site visits and progress meetings as needed
• Liaising with site teams and clients to maintain project delivery standards
• Utilizing Excel and Bluebeam (training provided, no prior experience required)

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-3 years' experience in quantity surveying (residential or commercial)
• No formal qualifications required; open to those currently studying
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Eagerness to grow professionally and take on more responsibility over time
