MCS Group is seeking a Junior Python Developer in Belfast to join a hybrid engineering team. You will build and maintain backend applications and APIs using Python and FastAPI, contributing across the software development lifecycle from feature implementation to troubleshooting.

You'll gain exposure to databases, authentication, payments and cloud infrastructure while learning from an experienced team and contributing innovative product functionality.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Python 3 and core programming principles.
• Experience implementing CRUD operations and working with APIs.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django or a similar Python web framework.
• Familiarity with PyTest and software testing best practices.
• Understanding of data modelling using Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, SQLModel or similar ORM technologies.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with an innovative technology business to recruit a Junior Python Developer to join its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring developer to contribute to the development of real-world software products while building their technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role:

As a Junior Python Developer, you'll focus on building and maintaining backend applications and APIs using Python and FastAPI. You'll contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from implementing new features and integrating external services to testing, troubleshooting and supporting existing systems.

You'll also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of databases, authentication, payment integrations and cloud infrastructure, while contributing ideas and collaborating with the wider team to deliver new product functionality.

Key Requirements:
