Bright Purple Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join the Technology and Data team. You will work hands-on on production systems, building software that users rely on and taking on increasing responsibility as you grow.

Youll collaborate with a small, ambitious team to design, build and deploy APIs, data pipelines and internal tooling on Azure, with Python at the core and a clear path to progress.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial Python experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, deploying and managing applications in an Azure environment.
• One to two years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development.
• Problem-solving mindset and a real appetite to learn and develop.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, well-structured Python for APIs, backend services and data pipelines.
• Deploying, managing and scaling applications on Microsoft Azure, keeping production systems reliable and performant.
• Designing, building and deploying full-stack web applications and internal tooling used daily across the business.
• Monitoring, debugging and improving live systems, taking ownership of what you ship.
• Using containerisation tools to package and run services consistently across Azure environments.
• Working with the wider team to build the Azure-based data infrastructure that supports reporting and analysis.
• Joining technical design discussions and code reviews, learning and sharing ideas as the team and platform grow.

A growing professional services business in London is looking for a Junior Software Developer with Python and Microsoft Azure experience to join their Technology and Data team. This is a great next step for a developer early in their career who wants to keep building their skills and take on more responsibility. It’s a hands‑on, end‑to‑end role for someone who enjoys building software that people actually use. You’ll be working on production systems that make a real difference to how the business operates, not prototypes that never see the light of day.

You’ll work closely with a small, ambitious team to design, build and ship the internal tools, automations and data‑driven systems that keep the business running. Python is at the heart of the stack and Azure is where it all runs. The feedback loop between what you build and the impact it has is short. Your work will be visible, your contributions will matter, and as you grow you’ll have a direct hand in shaping how the business scales.
