Job summary

A&F Sprinklers is seeking a Junior Proposals Engineer to join our Rochdale team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience in designing and estimating sprinkler systems, with training and mentoring to build a long‑term career in fire protection.

You will support the Sales team, learn hydraulic calculations, prepare cost estimates, and develop skills in proposal writing and customer relationships while working in a friendly, employee‑owned environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team on large-scale fire protection projects
• Learn and apply hydraulic calculation software
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop skills in proposals
• Develop customer relationships and manage enquiry workflows
• Assist with administrative duties to progress projects efficiently
