Job summary

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Midlands region projects, reporting to the Midlands Regional office in Bromsgrove. You will travel to HQ for reviews and visit client sites regularly.

The role suits a junior project engineer stepping into project management. Responsibilities include managing staff and subcontractors, documenting projects, controlling costs, and maintaining stakeholder liaison.

Qualifications

• Project experience within Water, Construction or Industrial industries.
• Willingness to undertake PFQ (APM PFQ).
• Excellent client engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Experience using planning software such as Microsoft Project.
• Full UK driving licence; driving to client sites will be required.

Responsibilities

• Management of staff and subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Creation and management of project documentation.
• Control project expenditure.
• Liaison with the client and other stakeholders.
• Working with a monthly project reporting structure.
• Proactively manage the environmental impact.
• Effectively manage the O&M outputs of the projects and programme deadlines.
