Job summary

Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Midlands operations, based near Bromsgrove. You will report to the Midlands Regional office and travel to client sites and the HQ as needed for reviews.

This role suits a Junior Project Engineer progressing into project management, with exposure to water, construction or industrial projects. Key duties include managing staff and subcontractors, preparing project documentation, controlling expenditures,

Qualifications

• Project experience within Water, Construction or Industrial industries
• APM - Willingness to undertake PFQ
• Excellent Client engagement and communication skills
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Experience using planning software such as Microsoft Project
• Full UK driving licence: Driving to Clients Sites will be part of this role

• Close Liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders
• Working with a monthly project reporting structure

The Role

We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager working in the Midlands Region and reporting in to our Midlands Regional office in Bromsgrove. You will be expected to travel to our HQ as required for project reviews and visit client sites on a regular basis. This role would suit a Junior Project engineer or project engineer looking to take the next steps in to a project management capacity.

Requirements

Essential

• Project experience within Water, Construction or Industrial industries
• APM - Willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
• Excellent Client engagement and communication skills
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Experience using planning software such as Microsoft Project
• Full UK driving licence: Driving to Clients Sites will be part of this role.

Desirable

• Appropriate trade qualification
• Previous experience within the Water industry.
