Job description

Junior Project Manager (6 month fixed term contract)

In a nutshell, Naked Wines is looking for a motivated and organised Junior Project Manager to join our Digital Team on a 6 month fixed term contract. If you’re organised, good at keeping things moving, and excited to learn how digital projects come to life — this could be the perfect role for you.

You will help ensure projects run smoothly, starting with work related to improving our website and tracking how our marketing performs. You’ll work closely with different teams, helping them stay on track, solve problems, and focus on what matters most.

Location & Working

You will be based in London or Norwich. We work hybrid – 2 days per week in your main office, plus one visit to the other office each month.

Responsibilities
  • Project Co-ordination & delivery: ensure day-to-day delivery runs smoothly by coordinating activities across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Track tasks, timelines, and dependencies across workstreams using tools such as Jira and Google Sheets
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues, working with the right stakeholders to resolve them efficiently
  • Keep project documentation up to date
  • Support run of team meetings like sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and delivery check-ins
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with product managers, growth team, and engineers to keep initiatives prioritised efficiently in line with business strategy
  • Coordinate and drive work moving forward at pace
  • Coordinate delivery of work such as A/B tests and UX improvements
  • Facilitate alignment between teams on performance metrics and reporting
  • Communication & Transparency: keep squads and stakeholders informed on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Summarise and share outcomes from meetings and workshops
  • Help promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
You are
  • Confident at tracking tasks, timelines, and dependencies across multiple workstreams/teams
  • Experienced with Excel and willing to learn tools like Jira, Smartsheet, and Google Sheets
  • Skilled at keeping documentation up to date and sharing clear, structured updates
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, design, engineering, analytics) and contributing to agile ceremonies
  • Able to break down work, highlight risks or blockers early, and support decision-making with clarity
  • Curious and proactive—quick to learn new tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and always looking for ways to improve how things get done
Requirements

You do not need a formal project management background to apply. A positive attitude and strong communication skills, plus a desire to learn, are important.

Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £30-35k
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (buy or sell holiday optional)
  • Wellbeing resources including access to Headspace
  • Occasional gifts and perks
