JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER - HYBRID (1 DAY A WEEK MIN) - WARRINGTON - £24,000 - £30,000 DOE

The Role

This role is ideal for a self-motivated and organised individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of acting as the primary liaison between delivery teams and clients. The successful candidate will manage data management, data analysis, and business intelligence projects. Since the role involves significant client interaction, excellent communication and rapport-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Delivery

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for smooth project execution.
• Break down projects into manageable iterations, ensuring delivery within budget.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, RAID logs, requirements, and resource plans.
• Manage project tasks across tools like Jira, Zoho Sprints, and Microsoft DevOps.
• Apply change management processes to handle scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Support senior project managers in improving workflows and efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout projects.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team, Product Owners, and Solutions Architects to define project scope and objectives, ensuring stakeholder involvement and technical feasibility.
• Provide regular updates and presentations on project progress to key stakeholders.
• Negotiate and manage project scope with clients and internal teams.

Skills and Attributes

• A degree in computer science, marketing, business, or related field.
• 12-18 months experience in a Junior Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interest in technology and data software/analytics.
• Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM are advantageous.
