Job summary

Primech Building Services Ltd in Kent is seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer. The role is designed for someone with basic building services or mechanical knowledge who wishes to grow in a supportive environment.

You will be enrolled on a fully funded HNC and gain hands-on project experience while developing your understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge or exposure to building services.
• Keen interest in engineering and construction.
• Willingness to study towards a HNC and develop skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in delivering building services projects.
• Support with project planning, documentation and technical drawings.
• Assist with procurement of materials and coordination with suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and support site coordination activities.
• Support quality control, health & safety compliance and commissioning activities.
• Help track project progress, costs and variations.
• Carry out basic engineering calculations and provide technical support.
• Develop knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
