Job summary

Jark Plc is seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer in the King's Lynn area to support the delivery of electrical projects from design through to handover. You will work with project managers, engineers and site teams to coordinate technical aspects and drive successful outcomes.

The role offers exposure to commercial, industrial and technically challenging projects, with opportunities to develop skills in planning, procurement and documentation while maintaining a strong health and safety

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification or relevant industry experience.
• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.
• Some experience within an electrical contracting, M&E or building.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers with the delivery of electrical projects
• Assisting with project planning, programmes and technical documentation
• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and project information
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and site teams
• Assisting with procurement of materials and equipment
• Supporting the preparation of project documentation and reports
• Assisting with project cost control and variations
• Coordinating with design and engineering teams
• Attending site meetings and supporting site operations
• Assisting with installation, testing and commissioning activities
• Monitoring project progress and reporting any issues to the Project Manager
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications and relevant standards
• Supporting the preparation of handover and O&M documentation
• Maintaining a strong focus on health & safety throughout the project lifecycle

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join an established and growing M&E engineering company based in the King's Lynn area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical engineering background who is looking to develop their career within a busy project environment and gain valuable experience working on a variety of commercial, industrial and technically challenging projects.

You will work closely with experienced Project Managers, Engineers and site teams, supporting the successful delivery of projects from design and planning through to installation, commissioning and handover.

The Role

As a Junior Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the project team with the technical and day-to-day coordination of electrical projects.
