Junior Product Engineer
Location: Remote with requirement to travel 4-weekly to Birmingham for team meetings.
Hours: Full-time 9-5 Mon-Fri
Salary: £25-30k DoE.

We are evolving our in-house care management solution, RightCareHQ (RCHQ). RCHQ is built on a Cloud based Platform, with a view to imminently expand further using Next.js and LLM models to support AI-first processes.

The role
- Reporting to the Technical Lead, you’ll be working in a small, fast-paced team. Day-to-day, you will:
- Investigate and resolve complex customer issues by tracing root causes through data, process, and system logic.
- Take ownership across the software lifecycle, especially in the planning and design phases, with support from the team to accommodate your learning and development.
- Learn and navigate our MariaDB database to facilitate problem-solving, planning, and designing new roadmap features.
- Write acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps and design user interfaces in Figma.
- Support with the definition, specification, and validation of new features end-to-end.
- Challenge assumptions and propose novel solutions to complex problems.
- Use AI to improve the quality and efficiency of your outputs.
Skillsand qualifications
- Knowledge of OOP
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Strong technical acumen
- Computer related degree not essential but should have evidence of practice
- Experience in AzureDevOps, Figma, Python, Typescript, Git, MariaDB a bonus
