Junior Power BI Data Consultant I Leeds (Hybrid) I Up to £36,000

Are you a Graduate, Apprentice, or Junior Data practitioner with 1–2 years of experience in data reporting and visualization, looking for an opportunity to work with a company that delivers meaningful results for its clients while supporting your growth and development?

Our partners are a rapidly growing UK-based data consultancy specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics.

The team supports a wide variety of UK industries with comprehensive, fully managed Business Intelligence services.

The Opportunity

They are looking for a Power BI Data Consultant to join their Leeds-based team. This role supports the company’s mission to help clients unlock the full potential of their data.

The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a passion for data and reporting - especially using Microsoft Power BI.

You’ll be working closely with clients, helping them make sense of their data through clear, insightful dashboards and reports. They'll support your growth every step of the way, with on-the job training and opportunities to gain Power BI accreditation.

The Ideal Candidate

The company prioritises mindset and attitude alongside technical skills.

To them, the ideal candidate would have:

• Strong interpersonal skills with confidence, communication ability, and relationship-building capability.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or Qlik (Power BI is preferred but not required - and if you're new to it all, we’ll help you get up to speed!).
• An analytical mindset with a passion for storytelling through data.
• A collaborative approach, working well with both clients and team members.
• Residency within commuting distance of Leeds (ideally under an hour each way).
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude to problem-solving.
• Hybrid working model (minimum two days per week in their Leeds office)
• Ongoing professional development and training
• Competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £36,000, depending on experience
• Attractive benefits package including 30 days of holiday (plus bank holidays), a generous pension scheme, and an annual bonus!

Interview Process

• Initial Conversation (30 minutes): A relaxed discussion to understand the your background, interests, and alignment with the role.
• Second Stage: You'll be tasked with building a Power BI dashboard and presenting this during an in-person interview at their Leeds offices, with clear guidance and support provided.
