Job summary

Plextek is seeking a proactive Junior PCB Design Engineer with 1–2 years’ experience, excited about PCB layout and building a career in high‑quality board design. You will learn from experienced engineers across RF, digital, analogue and mixed‑signal designs, reporting to the Head of CAD.

Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to design, documentation and release packs while growing skills in PCB technology and manufacturing outputs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in PCB design or electronics design support.
• Enthusiasm for PCB layout and turning design intent into manufacturable boards.
• Ability to follow processes, document work and release packs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to PCB design from library creation to layout and release.
• Turn schematics into well‑structured PCB layouts with increasing complexity.
• Support design reviews and project work with guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on board integration and packaging constraints.
