TAGGED RESOURCES in Market Harborough is seeking a Junior Part-Time Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

We welcome part-qualified or student accountants (AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with some finance experience. The role offers flexible part-time hours, training, and the chance to develop accounting skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA or similar accounting qualification.
• Experience in an accounts or finance role (preferred).
• Confident using Excel and able to work with accounting software.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
• Reliable, keen to learn and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Preparing and posting journals
• Supporting month-end processes and management accounts
• Assisting with VAT returns and other financial reporting
• Monitoring outstanding payments and receipts
• Assisting with general bookkeeping duties
• Providing administrative support to the finance team
• Helping with year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants when required

Our client, a successful fashion supplier is looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Market Harborough. The Role

Working closely with the wider finance team, you will assist with the day-to-day accounting functions of the business and help ensure that financial records are accurate and up to date.
