Job summary

Capgemini is recruiting a Non-Conformance Design Engineer to join our aerospace and defence team in the UK. You will investigate non-conformances on gas turbine engine components, evaluate design safety and airworthiness, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress and Materials to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires a strong technical foundation, ability to interpret engineering data, and experience working across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Your roleThis is an excellent opportunity to join a team of experienced Non-Conformance Design Engineers delivering solutions on high-profile aerospace and defence programmes. You will investigate and assess non-conformances on gas turbine engine components, working collaboratively across engineering disciplines to develop safe, compliant, and technically robust design solutions.• Assess and investigate manufacturing and service-related non-conformances, ensuring compliance with design intent, safety, airworthiness, and quality requirements.• Develop and substantiate engineering dispositions through technical evaluations, calculations, and close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, and Materials teams.• Support the delivery of practical, cost-effective solutions while building expertise in gas turbine engine design, manufacturing processes, materials, and repair technologies.Your profileThis role would suit an engineering professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
