Futures in Nottingham is seeking a Junior National Account Manager to develop its Grocery channel, managing key retail relationships and driving growth.

You will build account plans, coordinate with internal teams, and help bring exciting products to market through promotions and listings. The role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and commercial awareness to deliver sustainable sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management within food, nutrition or FMCG.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness, with confidence analysing sales, margins and promotional performance.
• An organised, proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable working across teams and with external partners to deliver customer plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key Grocery customers.
• Create and deliver account plans to achieve sales and margin targets.
• Identify opportunities for new listings, wider distribution and range expansion.
• Lead customer negotiations covering pricing, promotions and commercial agreements.
• Develop Joint Business Plans and monitor performance against agreed objectives.
• Work closely with NPD, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver customer requirements.
• Coordinate promotional activity and evaluate its impact on sales and profitability.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and communicate changes in customer demand.
• Monitor category trends, competitor activity and shopper behaviour to identify growth opportunities.
