Job summary

Swoop Recruitment in Mayfair, London is seeking ambitious Mortgage Brokers to join an established international brokerage. You will handle enquiries from initial fact-find through to completion, supported by quality inbound leads and a strong client base.

Enjoy a base salary of £45,000 plus 10% commission on all bankings, with uncapped earning potential and clear progression into more autonomous roles as you grow your billings and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential mortgage broking, with a sound understanding of lender criteria and the mortgage application process.
• Strong commercial instincts and the motivation to convert opportunities into completed business.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, tenacious approach to managing a pipeline and progressing cases.
• Strong numerical, organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage your own workload, take ownership and work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset, with a genuine desire to contribute to the wider team's success.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage enquiries and build relationships with a diverse, high-net-worth client base.
• Conduct detailed fact-finds to understand clients' financial circumstances, property portfolios and borrowing requirements.
• Research the market and lender criteria to identify and structure suitable mortgage solutions.
• Manage applications from recommendation and submission through to offer and completion.
• Liaise with lenders, clients and internal case-processing colleagues to keep transactions moving.
• Build lasting client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all cases are handled in line with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to develop your own network, generate business and increase your overall billings.
