Job summary

Gemba Advantage, a UK-based provider of secure, user-centred digital products for critical public sector organisations, seeks junior and mid-level engineers. You will join an agile team, design and develop secure services, and work with customers to deliver high-impact software using modern cloud-native technologies.

Ideal candidates have a solid software engineering foundation, experience with at least one modern language, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Willingness and eligibility to obtain SC & DV clearance (essential).
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles and experience in at least one modern language (Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go).
• Interest or hands-on exposure to cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Proactive attitude toward learning, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable software services.
• Research, prototype, and deliver effective technical solutions with experienced teammates.
• Take part in code reviews and continuously develop your skills.
• Build and test solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Work directly with customers and collaborate across delivery disciplines.
