Job summary

JD Group Head Office, Bury, Greater Manchester, invites an experienced Merchandising Leader to steer the team in delivering channel sales, markdowns, stock and intake plans and to drive strategic change aligned with company goals.

You will partner with Buyers and Assistant Merchandisers to develop range plans, review seasonal performance and ensure timely delivery, while collaborating across Online, Store operations, visuals, Marketing, Finance, DC and Stores to maximise KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar merchandising/retail leadership role.
• Strong numerical and commercial focus.
• Experience in sports/fashion retail is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver channel sales, markdown, stock and intake plans.
• Drive business change to meet company goals and objectives.
• Review season lessons and set department strategy with the Buyer.
• Plan and review SMT, category and seasonal ranges with stakeholders.
• Manage stock, intake and on-time delivery; adjust forecasts and markdowns.
• Collaborate across Online, Store operations, visuals, Marketing, Finance, DC and Stores.
• Provide merchandising support and lead collaborative cross-functional work.
