Job summary

N Brown is recruiting a Junior Merchandiser to maximise commercial opportunities by managing inventory, driving demand and improving availability. The role reports to a Category Manager and sits within a wider merchandising team at our Manchester-based HQ.

You’ll re-forecast, buy and cancel products, review seasonal performance, and support range planning while working with buying and partnerships to exceed budgets and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in fashion or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Excellent administrative, communication and organisation skills.
• Interest in fashion and customer first.
• Driven and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Present weekly trade information and generate performance data for promotions.
• Re-forecast, manage, buy and cancel product as needed.
• Review the WSSI in-season and maximise trading opportunities.
• Support the Category Manager with markdown spend control.
• Produce analysis to support future range planning.
• Prepare corrective action plans to clear and maintain dormancy levels.
• Collaborate with buying to build the most commercial range.
• Provide admin support and assist with ad hoc duties.
