Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is seeking a Junior Merchandiser in Peterborough to procure products, secure stock, and support range introductions. You will work with senior managers to identify opportunities to improve margins and negotiate supplier terms in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have prior buying or procurement experience, strong forecasting abilities, and excellent stakeholder management. A comprehensive training programme is provided in a supportive, flexible setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a buying or procurement environment.
• A solid understanding of the buying cycle.
• Excellent buying and demand forecasting ability.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience managing KPIs and budgets.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
