Job summary

Rise Resourcing is recruiting a Merchandiser for a retailer based in Leeds. This role is ideal for a Junior Merchandiser stepping up to a full Merchandiser position, offering exposure to seasonal strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with buying to shape collections, optimise product ranges, and monitor stock to minimise risk, while communicating with internal teams and senior management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment, at a Junior Merchandiser level.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
• Commercially aware and business focussed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with buying to drive strategy for future seasons collections.

• Review daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks.
• Manage stock to increase sales and reduce obsolete stock.
• Resolve escalated central merchandise team queries.

I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join a retailer based in Leeds. This role would be perfect for a Junior Merchandiser who is ready to move into a Merchandiser role.

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

• Working collaboratively with buying to drive strategy for future seasons collections.
• Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
• Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
• Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
• Dealing & resolving any escalated central merchandise team queries
• Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly

Key requirement for the role;
